Gautam Bhattacharya, receiving INDIAN SPORTS JOURNALISM AWARDS,2006 An award is normally given to a person to recognize his excellence in a certain field. And when the person is Gautam Bhattacharya then the definition even extends to the extent of a public acknowledgment of his work.His field of excellence includes Sports writing, hosting television shows with celebrities of both Entertainment and Sports world. I don’t think I’ve read anything that captures the flavor of an event so immediately.They are simply brilliant.The stories he renders are never invented but are always true to events. It is so easy to visualize anything through his writings or presentations. How could it not bring recognition and achievement for him !
