আমি এখন পুরনো প্যান্টের ছেঁড়া পকেট, ঝাড়লে শুধু মৃত্যু সংবাদ বেরোয়
দেড় মাস প্রাণপণ লড়েটড়ে আজ নতুন বইয়ের কাজ শেষ করলাম ।এ বার প্রোডাকশন ,রূপসজ্জা শুরু মানে জানুয়ারির দ্বিতীয় সপ্তাহের মধ্যে বার হওয়া উচিত । ভারাক্রান্ত মনে একটু বেশি যুঝতে হল ।কারণ প্রতিপক্ষ চূড়ান্ত বিষাদ ।হ্যাঁ,এ বারের বইয়ের বিষয় অন্যরকম ‒ মৃত্যু !
সাংবাদিক জীবনের তিরিশ বছরে পাবলিক লাইফে দেখা পরিচিত ৩০জনের চলে যাওয়া নিয়ে আলাদা আলাদা শোকগাথা । খুল্লমখুল্লা শোকগাথা ।কেমন হবে জানি না ।এটা প্রায় সপ্তম স্টাম্প থেকে ফাইন লেগে বাউন্ডারি মারতে চাওয়ার বেহিসাবি উদ্যোগ ।আপনারা পাশে না থাকলে অসম্ভব। সাহস চাই । শুভেচ্ছা তো অবশ্যই|

আমার নতুন বই ‘কাপমহলা’ পাওয়া যাবে কলকাতা বই মেলা 2015 তে। 29th জানুয়ারী থেকে স্টল নং 419 এ।
…তেইশ বছরে এই প্রথম কোনো রেফারেন্স বই একবারের জন্যও না খুলে একটা গোটা নতুন বই লিখে ফেললাম। পুরোটাই স্মৃতি আর পুরনো ডায়েরির নোটস নির্ভর। রেফারেন্স বই-এর মশলা জুড়লে বই আরো মশলাদার হয়ত হয়। কিন্তু স্মৃতিগুলো ঠিক নির্ভেজাল, আনএডিটেড আসে না। বস্তুনিষ্ঠ রেফারেন্স কোথাও যেন একটা চেক পয়েন্টে দাঁড় করিয়ে দেওয়ার অদৃশ্য ক্ষমতা রাখে। সেই চেক পয়েন্টে দাঁড়াতে চাইনি বলেই এই বই পুরোটাই আনএডিটেড; অসম্পাদিত…
